The Ship Repair Center is a key unit of the land industry under Yantai Salvage Bureau of the Ministry of Transport. Founded in 1976, it mainly engages in the construction, maintenance, reconstruction, dismantling of ships and offshore platforms, as well as the construction of steel structures.

Personnel Team

The center now has more than 100 middle and high-level professional and technical personnel. It has the ability to design and construct the ship and large-scale offshore steel structure, and has the qualification of DNV and CCS quality, environmental protection and occupational health and safety system certification. Shandong Province is the first batch of shipbuilding "white list" and safety standardization of enterprises.

Ship Construction
The repair center focuses on the construction of container ships, tugs, engineering ships, crane ships, etc. Has delivered 3600 tons, 1200 tons, 800 tons, 600 tons, and other large-scale crane ships more than 10; 2000-10000 horsepower port for tugboats and ocean-going tugboats and other various vessels more than 40. Products all over the major ports in northern China, companies, built quality tugboats have been exported to Singapore, India, Norway and other countries，With excellent product quality has won an international reputation.
Construction of steel structures
It can undertake a large number of offshore wind power cages, jackets and other steel structure construction businesses. In recent years, it has delivered 8 offshore oil rig modules and living modules, 4 800t salvage floating boxes, 1 anemometer tower, 2 multi-functional large-scale stable pile platforms, and 1 120t gantry lifting device. Hundreds of sets of offshore wind power steel structure tooling, covering the whole process of onshore manufacturing, dock loading, marine transportation and installation, In particular, the 3,000-meter deep-water ship trusteeship rack built by the company adopts European standards and reaches the international advanced level.
Ship Repair Aspect
Over 5000 ships have been repaired, including tugs, engineering ships, cargo ships, ro-ro ships, barges, dredgers, etc., and have been consistently praised by customers such as China Exchange, COSCO Shipping, China Railway Ferry, Bohai Ferry. Repair offshore oil platform more than 100, and Sinopec, CNPC, CNOOC three major oil companies to establish stable relations of cooperation.
