Introduction of Marine Engineering Fleet

The marine engineering fleet is a second-level unit under the Yantai Salvage Bureau of the Ministry of Transport. It mainly undertakes the tasks designated by the state in deep-sea rescue and salvage operations, emergency removal of oil spills from shipwrecks, emergency barge transportation, and other national public welfare responsibilities such as ensuring strategic sea passages and transportation safety of strategic materials. The business is mainly engaged in international offshore oil engineering, wind power project construction, barge transportation and other business.

There are more than 350 employees in the fleet, including more than 30 management personnel, more than 60 professional and technical personnel, such as middle and senior level, DP captain, project manager, etc., and a high-quality crew team which meets the needs of emergency rescue and salvage and marine work.

Ship equipment
The fleet owns the 5000-ton crane pipelaying vessel "Dehe", the pile-inserting salvage engineering vessel "Dejian", the 10,000-ton ocean-going self-propelled deck vessel "Debo", the 20,000-ton ocean-going self-propelled deck vessel "Debo 2" and "De". The total asset value of the "Bo 3" and the "Defu 15001" and "Defu 15002" ships of 15,000 tons non-self-propelled deck ships exceeded RMB 3 billion.
The window of honor
The fleet actively implements the "going out" strategy. The "Dehe" ship has been engaged in offshore oil installation and pipe laying in the Middle East oil and gas market for many years, and has launched the Yantai salvage brand in the international high-end offshore market. "Debo" series ship international heavy cargo transportation business covers Asia, Europe, America, the market brand reputation is constantly improving, while actively serving the national energy strategy, has successfully completed many offshore transportation projects such as Enping, Bozhong, Kenli, Hong Kong LNG and so on. The fleet has an experienced and skilled offshore wind power project construction management team. In recent years, the fleet has participated in the construction of Peninsula South No.3, No.4, U1, U2, Bozhong A, B1, and G wind power projects successively. The "Dejian" ship has completed the installation of more than 100 offshore wind turbines，It has contributed to the development of the national new energy industry and the realization of the "double carbon" goal.
